We are seeking a skilled, compassionate veterinary technician with a passion for emergency care to join our dedicated team at Pieper Memorial Veterinary Hospital in Middletown, CT.

About You
Veterinary medicine is a team sport. You will communicate clearly, multitask, and deliver high‑quality patient care in a busy setting. You are comfortable with patient restraint, triage, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia. Experience with CPR, EzyVet, and SmartFlow is a plus.
Anticipated Schedule
This is a full‑time position. Choose from the following schedules:
Schedule A: Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 6 am‑6 pm or Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday – 8 am‑6 pm
Schedule B: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday – 8 am‑6 pm
Holidays are required.
Compensation
Starting at $21.00 – $35.00 per hour, dependent upon experience.

Requirements
Associates in Veterinary Technology is a plus.
CVT license is a plus.
Knowledge of anesthesia and monitoring.
Knowledge of scheduling, receiving, treating, ordering supplies, and lab testing.
Knowledge of instrument care, storage, and sterilization techniques.
Knowledge of standardized procedures for treatments.
Knowledge of client and personal service principles.
Strong English language skills.
Ability to work independently and accept direction.
