Responsibilities
What you’ll do…

Lead MP&L team resolutions of part constraints impacting Receiving, Picking/Packing and material kit delivery to production floor.

Lead initiatives that positively influence inventory control and scheduling stability.

Support work groups to resolve DCV build critical part supply issues.

Lead/Coach Manufacturing behaviors within the MP&L Prototype process.

Prioritize key issues and allocate appropriate MP&L hourly floor resource.

Monitor/manage overtime of all hourly resources.

Conduct transparent and value driven partnership discussions with direct reports and hold employees accountable.

Strong ability to interface with Plant hourly (Unionized workforce), salaried personal, plant management, staff operations, logistic carriers, and parts suppliers.

Ensure Safety, Quality and productivity standards are met.

Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends as necessary.

Ability to work independently with limited oversight.

Qualifications

High School degree and equivalent work experience

Prior experience in manufacturing discipline.

Microsoft office knowledge

Strong organizational and administrative skills

Ability to multi-task

Strong problem -solving and conflict management skills

Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate Ford+ (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding and communication skills.

This position is a salary grade 7 to salary grade 8, and ranges from $86,600-$166,200.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate’s skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
