Description
Lockheed Martin MFC is embarking on a transformational journey with a focus on digital transformation. The Workforce Programs Lead role will guide programs to build and enable the future workforce by applying cybersecurity principles in a classified environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee day‑to‑day information system security operations, including auditing the IS, hardware, and software implementations and RMF package authorizations.
Carry out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements, primarily the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Upkeep, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events.
Document compliance actions with the ISSM to address non‑compliance within the allotted time frame.
Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices.
Participate in internal and external security audits/inspections; perform risk assessments.
Maintain records for workstations, software, servers, routers, firewalls, network switches, telephony equipment, etc. throughout the information system's life cycle.
Evaluate proposed changes or additions to the information system and advise the ISSM of their security relevance.
Maintain configuration management (CM) for security‑relevant IS software, hardware, and firmware.
Assist in conducting investigations of computer security violations and incidents and report as necessary.
Ensure proper protection and/or corrective measures are taken when an incident or vulnerability is discovered.
Communicate, implement, and manage a formal Information Security/Information Systems Security Program together with ISSM and Program Security.
Basic Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
Ability to obtain Security+ or an equivalent DoD Directive 8570/8140 Information Assurance Management Level II or III certification.
Knowledge of operating system security requirements for Windows and/or Linux.
Knowledge of industry‑standard Information Assurance tools such as Splunk, Nessus/Tenable/ACAS, STIGViewer/SCAP Compliance Checker/eSTIG, McAfee ePO, McAfee DLP, etc.
Desired Skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
Knowledge of system accreditation requirements and NIST 800‑53 and RMF implementation.
Experience working with classified information systems/environments.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, demanding environment.
Previous experience in a SAP/SCI environment.
Experience developing, reviewing, and maintaining RMF artifacts.
Knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security.
Understanding of network concepts and Type 1 encryption devices such as TACLANE and boundary protection devices/firewalls.
Ability to perform technical certifications for systems presented to the government for authorization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with security agencies, customers, and senior management.
Ability to speak in front of large groups.
Security Clearance Statement
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
