Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) are the business partners that work tirelessly behind the scenes to make it all happen. We drive continuous improvement, and maintain all of the Robotics and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to ensure our customers receive the Amazon smile.
Key Responsibilities
Screen work orders and analyze scope requirements to schedule maintenance activities based on available resources, work criticality, and maintenance windows.
Perform equipment audits to document job requirements, order spare parts for facility and material handling equipment, and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
Plan reliability improvement projects and collect engineering drawings and technical specifications to maximize system efficiency and performance.
Drive proactive maintenance programs that achieve 85% planned work targets while ensuring all activities derive from APM and are accurately closed in Amazon's maintenance virtuous cycle.
Maintain the ability to move up to 49 lbs, stand, walk, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
Basic Qualifications
High school or equivalent diploma.
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
1+ years of using a computer maintenance management system in planning, scheduling, and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities.
Travel up to 15% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler experience within an industrial maintenance complex, manufacturing/distribution industries, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of working with an enterprise asset management software suite.
Experience with material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation, and maintenance.
Location & Compensation
USA, AZ, Goodyear – 29.00 – 39.00 USD hourly
