Experience with test automation for API and UI testing using Python Selenium, with an in-depth knowledge of Python

Familiarity with configuration management tools, including Azure DevOps (TFS)
Familiarity with Visual Studio or other IDE
US Citizen and Active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance

Software background with an understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile
Peraton is seeking an experienced software tester with test automation experience who will work as part of the test automation team on the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) program, part of the Navy’s Tomahawk Missile program.
Peraton develops several TMPC applications, providing support for tactical and training operations. Functions provided by these applications include mission planning; data distribution; strike planning, rehearsal, and coordination; strike execution, monitoring, and control; strike reporting; and communications configuration and data management/delivery.
The primary focus of your test role on the test automation team, in collaboration with your team members, is to develop and execute automated tests to verify system behavior. Tests are written for both API and UI testing. This role may have the ability to work in a hybrid capacity, but is primarily on-site in Santa Clara, CA.
While testing is the primary responsibility, you will perform non-test activities, as needed and able, to support the overall focus and commitment of the team.

Develop and execute automated tests, following team/project conventions
Report test findings and document new errors per team/project conventions
Understand hardware configurations and applications/capabilities for each configuration
Provide or validate estimates for assigned tasks
Contribute to the evolution of the team/project standards and conventions
Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up)
Work in a collaborative team
