Senior Director, Supply Chain & Procurement

Campus, Atlanta, GA, United States

Position Summary

The Senior Director of Supply Chain & Procurement is a member of Illumia\'s operational leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. This role exists at a pivotal moment: Illumia is completing the operational unification of Transact and CBORD into a single, high‑performing $600M software company — and the supply chain function is one of the most consequential levers in that transformation.
This is not a caretaker role. The operational drag created by fragmented legacy supply chain processes — inconsistent fulfillment workflows, manual procurement cycles, disconnected systems, and unclear ownership across the hardware lifecycle — is directly limiting revenue, frustrating clients, and slowing the organization. The Senior Director\'s mandate is to eliminate that drag and build the supply chain function Illumia needs to scale: reliable, cost‑efficient, data‑driven, and fully integrated into the company\'s operating model.
The COO\'s first‑year priority is measurably improving quote‑to‑cash velocity. Supply chain is central to that commitment. Every hardware fulfillment delay, every manual approval, and every disconnected handoff between sales, procurement, and delivery is a failure point in that process. This leader owns fixing those failure points — structurally, not with workarounds.
Responsibilities

End‑to‑End Supply Chain Operations:

Ownership of Illumia\'s supply chain from demand planning through final delivery and reverse logistics
Procurement & Supplier Management:

Ownership of Illumia\'s direct and indirect procurement
Quote‑to‑Cash Integration:

One of the COO\'s most urgent priorities is improving Illumia\'s quote‑to‑cash velocity. Supply chain is a critical link in that chain
Systems, Data & Process Excellence:

Illumia\'s supply chain currently operates across disconnected legacy systems, with critical data scattered across D365, FinOps, Jira, and manual spreadsheets
Leadership & Team Development:

Building and leading a high‑performing, globally distributed supply chain team

Fix the quote‑to‑cash handoff
Establish a single source of truth for Hardware status
Builder Supplier Accountability
Integrate AI into Supply Chain Operations

LEADERSHIP QUALITIES

Humble:

They lack excessive ego or concerns about status. The right leaders for Illumia don\'t need to own the spotlight — they share credit, define success collectively, and are quick to elevate the contributions of others. This is a company still writing its story. The leaders who thrive here find energy in building something together, not in being recognized as the smartest person in the room.
Hungry:

They are always looking for more — more things to do, more to learn, more responsibility to take on. We are not looking for caretakers. We are looking for leaders who are restless about what\'s possible, self‑motivated to close the gap between where we are today and where we need to be, and who are already thinking about the next opportunity before anyone asks.
Smart:

They have common sense about people, dealing with others in the most effective way, and picking up on the needs and feelings of others. At Illumia, our leaders must operate across a complex, distributed organization spanning multiple product lines, two legacy cultures, and thousands of customers with competing priorities. Technical skills matter, but the ability to read a room, build trust across functions, and bring people along is what separates a great leader from one who burns the organization out.
