
Civil Project Engineer

What you’ll do
Perform civil site design for land development projects including water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure
Prepare engineering calculations, grading plans, drainage reports, and construction documents
Lead permitting efforts and coordinate with local and state regulatory agencies
Develop technical specifications and bid documents for construction projects
Manage and execute project tasks to meet scope, schedule, and quality goals
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery
Perform construction administration activities including site visits and coordination with contractors
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to model and refine designs
What you bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license
5+ years of experience in civil engineering design
Strong experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software applications
Progressive experience in planning, design, and permitting of civil site development and drainage improvement projects
Strong understanding of stormwater hydraulics and hydrology
Experience preparing grading plans, drainage reports, and construction documents
Ability to write technical specifications and bid documents
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with clients
Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and appropriately prioritize workflow
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Client service–oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

On‑site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
