Job Description
Assist the Special Education Director; implement the Special Educational assessment process. Assess the educational, learning styles, and program needs of students referred to special education services.
Educational Requirements
Master's Degree
Certificate/License Requirements
Valid Texas Certification in any of the following: Educational Diagnostician Certification, Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP).
Experience Requirements
Classroom Teacher, ARD IEP, and Formal Assessment, Experience working with special needs individuals in an educational setting.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
Organizational skills, Good communication, Interpretation of Assessment Data, Special Education Regulations, Ability to work with a team in collaborative manner.
Physical/Mental Demands
Carrying large files and technology from campus to campus, must be physically and mentally capable of working with active, mentally and behaviorally challenged students. MPISD DOES NOT SPONSOR H1-B VISAS
