We are looking for passionate and dedicated educators to create joyful, healing, and liberatory spaces of learning for Oakland students, families, and communities. Our mission is to build a Full Service Community District focused on high academic achievement while serving the whole child, eliminating inequity, and providing each child with excellent teachers, every day.
What we offer teachers:
We accept up to twelve years of full‑time teaching experience in other school settings on the salary schedule.
Full medical, dental, and vision benefits, including Flexible Spending Accounts, plus life insurance and long‑term disability coverage for teachers and dependents at no cost to full‑time teachers.
Retirement benefits through the CALSTRS Retirement System.
BCLAD stipend.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Eligibility to work in the US and pass a criminal background check.
Must possess or be willing to earn a California teaching credential.
Two current professional references on file, including one from a previous supervisor.
Must disclose every California school district, County Office of Education, charter school or state special school worked for to satisfy AB‑2534 requirements.
