This is a 4x10-hour contract position, working Tuesday to Friday from 1 PM to 11 PM. Rotating on-call duties are required one night per week from 11 PM to 7 AM, as well as 7 PM to 7 AM during weekend shifts.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform various imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety protocols are followed. Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, obtaining patient histories, and preparing patients for imaging procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations following established protocols.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Maintain MRI equipment and assist in troubleshooting as necessary.
Document imaging procedures and maintain patient records.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
ARRT certification in MRI.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of two years of experience in MRI technology.
Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
