Overview
The Conference Planner is responsible for developing and executing well-organized, profitable, and highly regarded Continuing Education (CE) activities that ultimately enhance patient care.
Responsibilities
This role requires strong organizational and planning skills, effective verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and the ability to make critical decisions.
Requirements
Associate Degree Required - Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in conference/event planning.
Ability to travel as required (less than 10%).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and follow up in a timely manner.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of Joint Accreditation and ACCME guidelines for CE providers is ideal but not mandatory.
