Position: Upper School Head Soccer Coach (Part-time Seasonal)
Reports to: Tyler Francis (Athletic Director)

Charles Wright Academy (CWA) is a co-educational, non-religious, independent school located in University Place, WA. Charles Wright Academy is located on a beautiful and sprawling 107-acre campus that includes athletic fields and more than 60 acres of gorgeous Pacific Northwest forest that also serve as an extension of our proper academic campus. Responsibilities

Coaching experience (high school preferred)

Strong leadership and program-building mindset

Ability to mentor and develop student-athletes through the sport of soccer

Provide support and guidance to our youth soccer program and coaching staff

Build a strong staff that shares our mission and values

Help build a community around soccer

Commitment to sportsmanship, character, and academic balance

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Knowledge of the rules and coaching all positions in football

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with interruptions

Ability to relate well to a variety of constituencies (faculty, parents, and students)

Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently

Desire to aid students, families, and colleagues
