Production Associate - Parts

Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Starting Wage: $22/HR

Summary
The primary function of this position is to manufacture metal components used in garage door production by operating a punch press and related equipment. Employees must ensure accuracy and consistency in each piece while maintaining quality standards and meeting production goals. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to safely operate machinery are essential for success in this position.

Essential Duties

Properly start-up, run and shut-down machines within the department.

Operate hand/power tools.

Complete die setups and checklists.

Manipulate automation programs.

Maintain and clean the dies.

Complete daily production checklist.

Marginal Duties

Assist in Production or Shipping areas as requested.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and written, to ensure a clear understanding of work instructions and safety protocols.

Have prompt and reliable attendance.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience
High School or GED required, and 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
