We are currently seeking an experienced
REGISTERED NURSE SUPERVISOR (RN) . The position is within Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services, offering a challenging yet rewarding environment.
Job Description
Assures the best patient care possible by supervising the facility and directing nursing staff during shifts.
Assists the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
Supervises nursing services for the facility during shifts in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, facility policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.
Supervises and assists nurses with patients during acute episodes.
Deals with employee problems promptly and documents actions.
Assumes on‑call responsibilities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
High school graduate.
Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Must hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
Provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctor orders, and display a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
CPR certified on a yearly basis.
Attend in‑service training and other staff meetings as required.
Ability to supervise nursing staff, ensuring work assignments are completed appropriately and timely.
Read, know, and follow personnel, departmental, and facility policies and procedures and adhere to local, state, and federal requirements.
Long‑term care experience preferred.
