
CNA - PCA- Caregiver

Spring Arbor of Fredericksburg (5308 River Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22407) is hiring compassionate, reliable Caregivers to join our Assisted Living team. We are looking for CNAs/PCA to work in Spotsylvania County, Stafford, and surrounding areas.
Shifts Available: Part‑time. 1st shift: 6am–2pm; 2nd shift: 2pm–10pm; PRN.
Responsibilities
Approach residents and associates with a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed‑linen changes, positioning, transfer, mobility, medication reminders, and incontinence care).
(Note: specific actions such as “changing of bed linens” are included.)
Maintain proper records of care, including resident service plans and documentation of services provided.
Communicate daily with Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care.
Promote a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors.
Support neighborhood programming and operations.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum age 18 years.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of related health‑care experience.
Required dementia training if applying to a Community with an Ensemble Program.
Positive criminal background screening.
Adherence to a drug‑free workplace policy.
Preferred Qualifications
CPR and first‑aid certification preferred or required by state.
Licensed or certified CNA/NA in good standing with state licensing/certifying agency, depending on state requirements.
Experience with computerized resident documentation systems.
