Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and systems* Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions* Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently* Collaborate with team members to ensure minimal downtime* Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety protocols**What Are We Looking For*** Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics* Familiarity with industrial tools, equipment, and safety practices* Strong communication and teamwork abilities* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check* Must meet all legal requirements to work in the U.S.**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.**Physical Demands*** Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and reach* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces* Manual dexterity and visual acuity required to operate tools and machinery* Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory**What We Offer*** Starting Pay $25.50 per hour DOE* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions* Highly competitive benefits programs, including:
