Bike Shop Mechanic
As a Bike Shop Mechanic, you’ll maintain, repair, and build bicycles used by guests and team members across our adventure programs. You’ll ensure every ride is safe, smooth, and reliable—supporting both the spirit of adventure and the standard of hospitality that defines IRHG.

What we will ask of you:

Perform maintenance, tune-ups, and repairs on all types of bicycles.

Assemble and inspect new bikes for quality and safety.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.

Maintain shop inventory and order parts as needed.

Support guests and team members with gear setup, fittings, and recommendations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Occasionally assist with guided rides or outdoor events as needed.

Requirements for Success:

2+ years of experience in bicycle maintenance or equivalent technical training.

Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with modern bike components.

Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Ability to communicate clearly with both guests and team members.

Commitment to safety, quality, and guest satisfaction.

Availability to work weekends and peak outdoor seasons.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Manual dexterity for small parts and precise mechanical work.

Comfort working in both shop and outdoor environments.
