We are looking for a
Patient Relations Specialist
who understands that every conversation shapes trust, access, and ultimately—patient outcomes.
The Role
You will manage inbound calls from new and existing patients, guiding them through:
Intake and scheduling
Service navigation
General support and coordination
You are responsible for delivering a
consistent, high-quality patient experience
across every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Patient Support
Answer and manage high-volume inbound calls
Schedule appointments across psychiatry, therapy, and specialty services
Provide accurate information about services, providers, and next steps
New Patient Intake
Collect and verify patient demographics and medical information
Ensure providers receive complete and accurate intake data
Support a smooth onboarding experience
Patient Experience
Communicate with empathy, clarity, and professionalism
De-escalate concerns and resolve issues effectively
Maintain a calm, solution-oriented approach
Systems & Documentation
Document all interactions in EHR systems (Tebra or similar)
Maintain accuracy and compliance with HIPAA standards
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure continuity of care
What Success Looks Like
Calls are handled efficiently and professionally
Patients feel supported and confident moving forward
Intake is accurate and complete
Scheduling flow is seamless
What We’re Looking For
Experience in customer service, call center, or healthcare intake
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
EHR experience preferred
High level of professionalism and emotional intelligence
