The Role
Based in our
South Miami office , you will support providers across
in-person and telehealth care , ensuring each visit is organized, accurate, and ready for clinical decision-making.
This is a
fast-paced, high-accountability role
for someone who is structured, reliable, and confident working at the intersection of clinical care and patient experience.
What You’ll Do
Patient Information & Medical History Management
Accurately obtain, verify, and update patient medical histories and demographic information for both in-person and telehealth visits.
Ensure providers have complete, reliable clinical information prior to patient encounters.
Direct Patient Care & Clinical Support
Room in-person patients and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, weight).
Prepare patients for psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits, including telehealth appointments.
Administer injections and medications as ordered by providers, following established protocols.
Observe patient responses and promptly communicate clinical concerns to the care team.
Medication & Prescription Support
Assist patients with medication-related inquiries across in-person and virtual care.
Process prescription refill requests, confirm accuracy, and route for provider approval.
Communicate with patients and pharmacies to ensure timely and accurate medication fulfillment.
Care Coordination
Serve as a key liaison between patients, providers, pharmacies, laboratories, and internal teams.
Support Psychiatry Residents by preparing charts, coordinating workflows, and assisting during clinic sessions.
Facilitate continuity of care through clear follow-up communication for telehealth and in-person patients.
Lab & Documentation Management
Enter, track, and manage lab orders and results within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Ensure documentation from virtual and in-person encounters is complete, accurate, and timely.
Compliance & Confidentiality
Ensure all clinical and administrative processes adhere to HIPAA and OSHA standards.
Maintain patient privacy and data security across in-person and telehealth interactions.
Collaborative Support
Partner with physicians, psychiatric nurse practitioners, residents, and fellow staff to maintain efficiency and clinical excellence.
Contribute to a calm, professional, and patient-centered clinical environment.
Other Duties as Assigned
Support additional administrative, clinical, and patient communication needs to maintain a high-functioning practice.
What You Bring (Must-Haves)
Fluent Spanish (required)
Certified Medical Assistant (required)
Full-time availability (required)
Experience in a clinical or healthcare support role
Comfort working in both
in-person and telehealth environments
Strong understanding of medical terminology and workflows
Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
High attention to detail, reliability, and accountability
