Parent Liaison - Early Childhood
Location:
RYSS Early Childhood (OST & Leonel Castillo), Houston, Texas
Reports To:
Director of Early Childhood
Position Summary
The Parent Liaison Early Childhood serves as a bridge between families, schools, and the broader community to promote enrollment, strengthen family engagement, and support student success. The liaison increases awareness of RYSS Early Childhood programs, drives PreK enrollment, and ensures families are informed, empowered and actively engaged in their children’s education. The role also ensures compliance with parent involvement regulations through meaningful and strategic engagement.
Education and Experience
Education:
Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum one year of work experience in a school-based setting.
Qualifications
Experience advocating for children and families
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong public speaking and presentation abilities
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
Proficiency with computers and basic technology platforms
Ability to plan and facilitate meetings in both school and community settings
Employment Details
Salary:
Minimum $15.20/hr. Mid $18.20/hr. Max $21.50/hr.
FLSA Status:
Non‑Exempt

Full‑time, 12‑month calendar (238 days)
