A day in the life.
As a Senior Claim Representative on the McGriff Specialty Team, you will maintain accurate records and appropriate accounting in the claim management system, obtain specific information regarding loss/claim to report to the company, advise customers on necessary processes for claims filing, respond to customers about claim status, assist producers and the claims team with status and special projects, respond to company requests for policy information as necessary for claim settlements, maintain a diary system for periodic follow-up on selected claims, and update all screens on the claim injury system.

Bachelor’s degree
Two years oil and gas/energy insurance or claims experience
Adjusters license
Operates under the direction of claims
Strong client relationship skills with excellent communication, service orientation, cooperation, and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems
Considerable knowledge of basic company computer programs for word processing, accounting, and applications
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of risk transfers
Prior brokerage experience
Knowledge of McGriff’s claim management / agency management system or ability to learn quickly
