Orthopedic SurgeonRedding, California Total Joint focus | Strong referral network | 226-bed hospital | Northern California lifestyle Shasta Regional Medical Center, a 226-bed acute care hospital in Redding, California, is seeking a General Orthopedic Surgeon with a focus on Total Joint procedures to join its hospital-owned multi-specialty medical group. This opportunity offers immediate surgical volume, strong referral support, and the ability to build a busy orthopedic practice in a growing Northern California community. Position Highlights Hospital-owned multi-specialty group practice Primarily Total Joint procedures with general orthopedic scope Strong regional referral network supporting immediate case volume Full-time opportunity; part-time or per diem considered Practice supported by dedicated clinical staff and hospital resources Visa sponsorship available Practice Overview Shasta Regional Medical Center serves Northern California with a full range of medical and surgical specialties. The orthopedic program benefits from strong community demand and referrals from primary care physicians and specialists throughout the region. The incoming surgeon will focus primarily on Total Joint procedures while maintaining a general orthopedic surgical practice, supported by experienced surgical staff and modern operating room facilities. What Youll Do Perform Total Joint and general orthopedic procedures Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists Participate in shared call coverage Schedule Full-Time Typical surgical and clinic hours approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Call Approximately 1 week of call per month (shared schedule) What Were Looking For MD or DO, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Interest in Total Joint procedures and general orthopedic practice Strong clinical judgment and collaborative approach to patient care Visa candidates welcome Compensation Base salary starting at $535,000+ annually (depending on experience) Productivity bonus based on collections Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available Health insurance: self-funded EPO (HMO) at no cost to provider 401(k) retirement plan CME allowance Malpractice insurance coverage About Prime Healthcare Prime Healthcare is an award-winning, physician-founded health system established in 2001 by cardiologist Dr. Prem Reddy and headquartered in Ontario, California.
