Hospitalist opening in Plattsburgh, NYLocated in Plattsburgh, NY - Montreal, QC 70mFull-time; PermanentEmployedOverview: Seeking Board Eligible or Board Certified Hospitalist Mix of day and night shifts required (blocked scheduling) Approximately 13 shifts per month (12-hour shifts) Provide inpatient care in a collaborative hospitalist team environment Work within a Level III Trauma Center with strong specialty support Manage a diverse patient population in a community hospital setting Collegial environment with opportunities for teaching and academic involvement---Comp/Benefits: Base Salary: ~$307,000+ (night differential available) Loan repayment assistance (PSLF eligible) Relocation assistance Malpractice coverage CME allowance Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Retirement plan (403b) Paid time off---About the Facility: 300-bed regional community hospital serving northeastern New York Level III Trauma Center with ~46,000 annual ED visits ~9,400 annual admissions and broad specialty coverage 9 operating rooms and advanced critical care capabilities EPIC EMR across inpatient and outpatient settings* Academic affiliation with residency and medical student rotations--About the Area:Plattsburgh is a scenic community in northern New York located along Lake Champlain, just 70 miles from Montreal.
