Orthopedic Adult Reconstruction Surgery opening in Plattsburgh, NY - Visa EligibleLocated in Plattsburgh, NY - Montreal, QC 70mFull-time; PermanentEmployedH1/J1 Visa AssistanceOverview: Seeking Board Eligible or Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon Focus on Adult Reconstruction (Hip & Knee Arthroplasty) Perform primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgeries Mix of clinic and OR time (typically 2 clinic days + surgical days) Participate in shared community trauma call Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including hospitalists, anesthesia, and PT Utilize advanced surgical technology including Hana table Work in a collaborative, hospital-employed orthopedic group Flexible scheduling aligned with patient and surgical needs---Comp/Benefits: Salary Range: $700,000 - $800,000 Loan repayment assistance Relocation assistance Malpractice coverage CME allowance + additional PTO for CME Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Retirement plan (403b) Paid time off (~29 days annually)---About the Facility: 300-bed regional community hospital serving northeastern New York Level III Trauma Center with ~46,000 annual ED visits 9 operating rooms and ambulatory surgery center EPIC EMR across inpatient and outpatient settings Modern surgical equipment and orthopedic resources Academic affiliation with residency training programs Integrated multi-hospital system with tertiary referral support--About the Area:Plattsburgh is a scenic community in northern New York located along Lake Champlain, just 70 miles from Montreal.
