About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Asset Management with a focus on U.S. commercial real estate loans. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a diversified portfolio that includes various property types and capital structures. Key duties include monitoring asset-level performance, borrower reporting, market conditions, and covenant compliance, as well as identifying and mitigating emerging credit and market risks. The role also involves re-underwriting, collateral valuation reviews, and downside risk analysis, as well as acting as the primary post-closing contact for borrowers and key counterparties.

Applicants must have 8-12+ years of experience in commercial real estate credit, asset management, or loan restructurings, with a proven track record in managing transitional, construction, bridge, or value-add commercial loans. A deep understanding of loan documentation, covenants, and capital stack structures is essential, as are strong analytical and financial modeling skills. The role requires the ability to exercise sound credit judgment, work across various management workflows, and operate autonomously with senior-level responsibility. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree or professional certification being preferred. The Vice President will also be expected to contribute to the enhancement of asset management policies, procedures, and reporting standards, and to partner with internal teams to ensure effective portfolio management.
