About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Commercial Real Estate Loan Asset Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of U.S. commercial real estate loans, monitoring asset-level performance, and identifying emerging credit and market risks. This role involves maintaining watchlists, developing proactive mitigation strategies, and performing ongoing re-underwriting and collateral valuation reviews. The VP will also act as the primary post-closing contact for borrowers and key counterparties, review and approve various borrower requests, and evaluate loan modifications and restructurings as needed.

Applicants must have 8-12+ years of experience in commercial real estate credit, asset management, or loan restructurings, with a proven track record in managing transitional, construction, bridge, or value-add commercial loans. A deep understanding of loan documentation, covenants, and capital stack structures is essential, as are strong analytical and financial modeling skills. The role requires the ability to exercise sound credit judgment, experience in portfolio, borrower, and transaction management workflows, and the capacity to operate autonomously with senior-level responsibility. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree or professional certification being preferred. The VP will also be expected to contribute to the enhancement of asset management policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
