*Job Overview*

*Duties*
* Represent clients in family law cases, including negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
* Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, settlement agreements, and court pleadings
* Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies
* Advise clients on estate planning, child custody arrangements, spousal support, and related legal matters
* Negotiate settlements that align with clients’ best interests while fostering amicable resolutions whenever possible
* Prepare for litigation by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and developing case strategies
* Stay current on evolving laws related to family law, tribal law & regulations, immigration law, and other relevant areas to provide accurate guidance
*Requirements*
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission Oklahoma
* Experience with time-tracking and billing by the hour
* Proven experience in family law practice with a strong understanding of litigation procedures and legal drafting
* Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis
* Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, persuasive legal documents
* Strong negotiation skills to facilitate favorable settlements for clients
* Legal administrative experience including managing case files and maintaining detailed records
* Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while demonstrating professionalism and empathy
