We strive to make music lessons accessible and affordable because we believe music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place.
Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Piano. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Waxhaw, NC area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP.
Responsibilities
Teach private music lessons (especially piano).
Lessons can occur in the students' homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam. Most students prefer in-person lessons, but webcam lessons are available.
Host students and/or travel to students in the Waxhaw, NC area.
Set your own schedule and develop your own curriculum/lesson plans.
We handle advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing to help you focus on teaching.
Compensation & Schedule
Independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour, dependent on travel time, experience/education, and student retention rate. You have the freedom to set your own schedule and curriculum.
Qualifications
Great with kids, loves teaching, communicates well with our office, is organized and punctual for all lessons.
Formal music training is not mandatory but one of the following is required: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
COVID-19 Precautions
Most students prefer in-person lessons at the instructor's studio or the student's location. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.
