We strive to make music lessons accessible and affordable to as many people as possible because we believe music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place.
Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Piano, in the Henrico, VA area. Lessons may take place in students' homes, in your own home or studio, or via webcam. While a small percentage of students prefer webcam, most still favor in-person lessons, so we need local instructors willing to host students or travel within the area.
You will be paid as an independent contractor, $20-$30 per hour depending on travel time, experience/education, and student retention. You have the freedom to set your own schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans. Taylor Robinson Music handles advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing to lighten your load so you can focus on music.
We are looking for instructors who are great with kids, love teaching, communicate well with our office, and stay organized and punctual. Formal music training is not mandatory, but you must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
Safety and COVID-19 Precautions
When teaching in person, you must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.
