Pharmacist in Charge
Location:
Cedar Rapids, IA
Schedule:
M–F (shifts between 8am–7pm) + rotating weekend (every 4th)

seeking a
hands-on Pharmacist

What You’ll Be Doing:
Oversee daily
dispensing, IV prep, and compounding operations
Ensure full compliance with
State and Federal regulations
Supervise technicians and support staff to meet production goals
Maintain
controlled substance oversight and inventory systems
Support and enforce
USP 797 compliance programs
Work alongside your team on the floor (this is a hands-on role)
Identify workflow improvements and drive operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
Active Pharmacist license (in good standing)
5+ years of experience (LTC or high-volume environment preferred)
Strong background in
operations, workflow, and compliance
Experience with sterile compounding is a plus
Detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused
Comfortable in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
The Environment:
This is a
high-volume, operationally focused pharmacy
where teamwork, accuracy, and efficiency are critical. Ideal for a pharmacist who enjoys being actively involved in workflow—not just verifying from a distance.
