Pay: $20/hour
Status: Temporary; full‑time position
Hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00–3:00 OR 7:00–4:00, Friday 6:00–12:00
Job Summary
The Engineering Intern will assist with the development and execution of assigned engineering projects and tasks using academic knowledge and skills with existing software under supervision from engineering staff. The role includes creating drawings of standard parts, transferring files from paper to electronic systems, and completing small projects as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform basic product designs and modifications
Coordinate and communicate project status with engineering staff and customers
Assist in developing assembly and detailed drawings for assigned projects
Scan prints, manuals, and other documents into the electronic system
Support engineering staff with new and existing products and processes, development, problem‑solving, testing, reporting, documentation, supervision, and follow‑up
Attend meetings and site visits as warranted or directed by engineering staff
Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
Current student of industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical design engineering program
Training in common engineering computer programs, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
No experience required; must be enrolled in a two‑or four‑year degree program
