Program Security Officer
Work Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
What will you be doing?
Serve as the primary contractor program security officer (CPSO) and facility security officer (FSO) for our Chantilly facility supporting IC and DoD customers. As FSO/CPSO, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day security for the facility in support of multiple contracts. As needed, assist the COMSEC team that supports over 400 subscriber sites.
Responsibilities
Process access requests, ensuring proper paperwork is prepared and submitted via TALON/eQIP
Maintain and update program security files and associated customer databases
Provide security related annual training to all assigned personnel in accordance with customer requirements
Conduct security in‑briefing and debriefing related to security compartmented programs
Manage the protection and safeguarding of all classified materials
Process SCI visit requests to include IC and DoD visits
Provide day‑to‑day security support to WWT employees and subcontractors concerning counterintelligence, industrial, operational, personnel and physical security
Create, coordinate and maintain DD Form 254s for prime and subcontractors
Provide security incident response support to include accurate documentation, appropriate notification(s), preliminary investigation, and timely resolution
Respond promptly to customer security needs and requirements for program security support
Daily use of Department of Defense and IC systems and applications which may include: DISS, NISS, TALON, SNOW, Gateway and Scattered Castles
Establish and maintain personnel and facility security files
Manage all the physical aspects of the SCIF (alarms, access control, monitoring, etc.)
Conduct self‑inspections as directed by the DoD and IC directives
Assist with COMSEC efforts in support of over 400 subscriber sites in accordance with COMSEC Management Plan
Maintain current hard copy and soft copy files for IPA Subscriber COMSEC sub‑accounts
Support efforts to configure and key COMSEC material
Overall Program Support: Assist where needed to keep the overall program successful
Requirements
Active TOP SECRET SCI security clearance
4 years of experience FSO/CPSO with Bachelor preferred; or 8 years of experience as a FSO/CPSO
Experience in DoD and SCI security policies, procedures, directives, and requirements
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Customer/mission focused, self‑starter with excellent time management skills
Excellent communication (written & oral), interpersonal, presentation and technical skills
Completion of DCSA FSO training courses
Salary
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions that are not included in the base pay.
