Role Overview
The Success Guide helps customers grow value and improve adoption of Salesforce products. Success Guides provide proactive and reactive architecture, product, and industry expertise. They engage customers across all account segments, delivering 1:1 success guidance to Premier and Signature Success customers, and partner with Success Managers, Account Executives, and Support to make customers successful.
Responsibilities
Provide prescriptive recommendations, best practices, and technical advice for improving adoption
Deliver 1:1 Expert Coaching Sessions and Ad-Hoc Success Engagements
Become an expert in Marketing Cloud and related products
Help customers consistently achieve their business outcomes
Generate positive feedback from customers, internal teams, and leadership
Mentor and upskill Guides through peer shadowing, product knowledge transfers, and strategic feedback
Required Qualifications & Skills
4+ years of relevant experience
Trailhead Ranger
Agentblazer Innovator Status
Certifications: Salesforce Administrator and (Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Administrator, or Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist)
Knowledge of internet development technologies (HTML, JavaScript, XML, API, etc.) is required
Consultative and customer-focused approach and engagement style
Ability to navigate, resolve, and lead efforts on complex customer requests
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively with audiences ranging from developers to C-suite
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, collaborate with team members, and perform effectively under pressure
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Validated expertise through official Salesforce certifications
Understanding of database concepts and SQL
Programming abilities or ability to read code in Java, PHP, JavaScript, and AMP Script
Previous experience with Salesforce/Marketing Cloud and its technologies
Nice to Have
Experience in Marketing on Core, Personalization or Intelligence
Data Cloud certification
Marketing Cloud Developer certification

Salary & Benefits
In the United States, compensation is determined by location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The typical base salary range for this position is $99,400–$150,300 annually. The company offers a variety of benefits, including time-off programs, medical, dental, vision, mental health support, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and an employee stock-purchasing program. Salary may also include incentive compensation, equity, and additional benefits as applicable.
