What to Expect
The Tesla Texas Manufacturing EHS Training Team seeks a motivated EHS Training LMS Specialist who will be collaborating with the local and global EHS subject matter experts in creating innovative instructor‑led and online courses, training standards, and maintaining the Inside Tesla knowledge management library. The ideal candidate would bring strong EHS Training Learning management system experience to the Texas Manufacturing EHS team and will possess an innovative problem‑solving ability to scale LMS capabilities across different business units within Tesla EHS team. We are looking for someone who has outstanding communication, presentation, organizational skills and solves problems quickly and efficiently, leverages AI and new technologies, and is obsessed with the learner experience.
What You'll Do
Create and maintain LMS course templates and develop training content from SME input
Produce training videos and design slide decks for instructor‑led EHS training, develop job aids (e.g. monthly EHS Essentials, one‑pagers) to support training initiatives
Design and implement a training ticket process flow, prioritizing courses with the highest impact and leadership buy in
Collaborate with SMEs to assess training needs, define project timelines, and ensure content alignment with goals
Administer LMS functions: publish Rise courses, configure enrollment/audience groups, and manage ad‑hoc requests (e.g. unenrollment)
Coordinate Texas manufacturing EHS training content updates, develop EHS training procedures, guidelines, maintain course catalogs (including naming conventions, review cadence, and archiving) and support global EHS training needs as needed
Support in‑person training sessions as assigned and serve as the liaison between Texas Factory Training, People development, HR, and other stakeholders on behalf of TX manufacturing EHS Training program
What You'll Bring
3+ years of training experience, designing and developing training curriculum using design tools
Proficiency in developing training programs and materials, including student assessments, and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Proficiency with authoring tools (Articulate 360: Storyline/Rise) and a strong understanding of how to leverage AI tools to accelerate development
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to negotiate with stakeholders, manage expectations, and present complex plans to leadership
Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and lead through change. You must be self‑motivated and capable of making decisions with incomplete information
Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes and EHS management systems, along with experience in workflow automation, software applications, data analytics, and visualization tools
