What You’ll Do
In this hands-on role, you’ll bring projects to life by installing, modifying, and repairing ductwork and sheet metal systems. You’ll work from blueprints and specifications to ensure precise, code-compliant installations, while collaborating closely with team members and other trades on-site.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specs
Measuring, laying out, fabricating, and installing duct systems (TDF, snap lock, slide and drive, etc.)
Cutting and shaping sheet metal
Installing HVAC equipment such as air handling units, VAV boxes, and fan-powered boxes
Coordinating with other trades to ensure seamless project execution
Inspecting your work to meet industry and company standards and job requirements
Loading/unloading materials and maintaining a clean, safe job site
Using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
Applying shop math and problem-solving skills on the job

What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work:
Vocational/technical training or completion of an apprenticeship
2+ years of related HVAC sheet metal experience preferred
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation practices
Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical documents
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Reliable transportation
Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform basic math calculations
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
Ability to work independently and help guide apprentices or helpers
Commitment to safety with knowledge of OSHA standards
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements:
This is an active, hands-on role requiring the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform tasks that involve bending, reaching, standing, kneeling, and working on your feet for extended periods
Work will generally begin at the customer’s job site; job locations will vary based on project needs and may span a wide geographic area
Ability to work in all weather conditions & temperatures
