Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Industrial Electrical Controls, troubleshooting, and repair in a high speed manufacturing environment. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair both DC motors and drives, AC motors and VFDs, motor controls, starters, relays, two and three wire proximity sensors, limit switches, and machine safety circuits.
Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic troubleshooting ability
Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience
Stamping press maintenance experience is a plus
Experience with Mitsubishi, Omron PLCs, VFDs, servos, and various automated systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Ability to utilize an electrical multimeter for troubleshooting high and low voltage systems
Ability to work various shifts and required overtime
Ability to share skillsets with other team members
Ability to MIG, TIG and Arc weld when needed
Strong communication skills
Electrical and robotics knowledge and experience is a plus
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain records
Proper use and care of PPE
Clean and maintain work area and equipment
Experience with 5S process
Record data onto forms provided
Operate a forklift and other support equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Perform inspections of equipment
Other duties as required
Special Skills / Education/Experience Required
Electrical (24 V–480 V, AC, single and 3 phase power, DC voltage, control systems, motor controls)
PLC programming (creating, editing, troubleshooting)
Robotics knowledge is a plus
Ability to make decisions and solve complex problems on a wide variety of equipment
Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
Ability to work a variety of shifts if called upon
Associate’s degree OR three or more years experience in an applicable field of work
