Phlebotomist III Float – Lexington, KY
– Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.

Pay range:
$20.81+ per hour. Salary offers consider skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Successful candidates may receive an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities
Serve as a phlebotomist within a designated territory (Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or other sites).
Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
Coach, mentor, instruct, and serve as a resource for new employees; act as the point of contact on site and provide regular input to group leads or supervisors.
Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training) preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Minimum three years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
