Phlebotomist II Float – Pickerington, OH
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with rotational weekends.
Pay
Minimum $20.23 per hour plus a $1.50 float differential. Salary offers consider skills, training, experience, education, and relevant certifications. Successful candidates may receive annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities
Cover assigned territory within patient service centers, doctors’ offices, or other sites as business needs dictate.
Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
Collect specimens per established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
Coach, mentor, instruct, and serve as resource advisor for new employees; be the point of contact to staff on site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor.
Travel to additional doctors’ offices or patient service center sites as needed.
Qualifications
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience
Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Minimum two years in a patient service center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
The position requires effective communication in English.
