Role Description
We are seeking a full‑time Healthcare Cook to join our team on‑site at our Palm Beach Gardens, FL location. The Cook will prepare and serve meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, managing food inventory, operating kitchen equipment, and adhering to all food safety regulations. The Cook will collaborate with dietary and healthcare staff to support the nutritional needs of patients and deliver exceptional meal experiences.
Qualifications
Proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and knowledge of culinary techniques.
Understanding of dietary requirements, including nutrition, allergies, and specialized meal preparation.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation standards.
Ability to maintain inventory, manage supplies, and efficiently utilize kitchen tools and equipment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
Prior experience in healthcare or institutional food service is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Culinary school certification or equivalent food preparation training (preferred).
