Our service model focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of your mental health patients. Based on the results of an assessment, we determine the most appropriate level of care and recommend treatment facilities. The tele‑psychiatric assessment and consultation services we offer are designed to connect people with the care provides best equipped to address their mental health issues. Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Clinical Lead Therapist to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Clinical Lead has the responsibility of providing assistance to the Clinical Director, leading and supporting a team of mobile assessors while overseeing call center workflows to ensure timely and effective service delivery. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Duties include support with review of clinical assessment/referral documentation, filing of involuntary commitment paperwork (where applicable)
Daily communication with referral sources regarding patient case status
Assistance with interviews, new hire orientation and training of Clinical Assessment Team Evaluators in workflow processes and procedures
Additional duties include help with team scheduling, payroll and daily reports. Excellent clinical, and organizational skills are critical components of this job

Qualifications
Education
EDUCATION: Nursing Degree or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
Licensure / Certification
Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Registered Nurse (RN).
Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. ("Customer hospital" means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)
Must have a valid driver's license.
Experience
Required: 3-5 years of similar experience / Leadership experience.
Preferred: 5-8 years of similar experience.
