At the VCU Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation, our mission is to foster transformative research, discovery, and innovation at Virginia Commonwealth University through service excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities
The VCU Cohort and Registries Administration (CARA) Core is looking for a summer intern. This position would be responsible for supporting the informatic and research roles of the core.
The intern would be responsible for supporting any of the following tasks:
Development and implementation of a publicly facing data dashboard on available Mid‑Atlantic Twin Registry (MATR) data
Managing activities for the MATR Twin Advisory Board and community events
Managing activities of an Executive Steering Committee of Researchers
Supporting team activities in grant development
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to conduct and prioritize multiple competing tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
Ability to conduct and prioritize multiple competing tasks.

Ability to think independently and critically.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in R as well as SAS. Early users of these tools who have a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.

Salary Range
up to $20/hour commensurate with experience
