Supervisor of Building Trades
Job Description and Duties : Under general direction of the Correctional Plant Manager II, coordinates and supervises the repair, maintenance, and minor construction work of buildings and structures. May be required to undergo a physical and pulmonary examination for the respirator program.
Responsibilities :
Provide direct supervision for Utility Shop Supervisor, plumbing, electric, carpentry, stationary engineer, and mechanical maintenance personnel.
Coordinate and supervise repair, maintenance, and minor construction work of buildings and structures.
Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
Qualifications :
Minimum requirements as specified in the Class Specification for the Supervisor of Building Trades (Correctional Facility).
Eligibility for Training and Development assignments may also be considered.
Working Conditions : California State Prison, Solano, Vacaville.
