Pay: The anticipated salary range for this position is $29.80-$39 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant work experience, the skills required for the role, internal equity, market competitiveness, and budget considerations. Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Shift times: Monday - Friday, 8:45 am - 5:15 pm

Travel: Possible travel to MN health centers anticipated during first 6 weeks of role for training.

Job Summary
Under direct supervision of the Health Center Manager, the Registered Nurse performs routine health center duties associated with a reproductive and sexual health program within the scope of RN licensure. The RN provides the highest level of customer service and patient care, supports health center operations, conducts patient history reviews, processes labs, supplies contraceptives, and offers unbiased education. The RN also assists with inventory and supports clinicians when needed and may perform other related duties to support health center operations as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Active RN license in Minnesota
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certificate for healthcare providers
Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Interview and screen patients, review patient history, document in electronic medical record, prepare patients for examinations or procedures, and assess, address, or triage patient complaints; monitor vital signs
Perform routine laboratory tests including venipuncture, communicate results, ensure appropriate follow‑up, and process receipt of incoming lab results
Provide factual patient education and additional counseling in consultation with clinicians, including explanations of FDA‑approved birth‑control methods and unbiased instructions on selected method
Inform patients in a non‑directive manner about all unintended‑pregnancy options and provide supporting materials and education
Provide factual, unbiased information to patients seeking abortion; describe differences between medication and surgical abortion
Refer patients per protocol, perform follow‑up functions, and ensure complete documentation of care plans
Follow all federal, state, and local laws regarding mandated reporting, abortion services, healthcare services, and HIPAA
Provide contraceptive supplies, medications (including injectables), venipuncture, and manage medical emergencies per PPNCS protocols; maintain inventory control of clinic supplies, including ordering, stocking, and tracking
Communicate PPNCS protocols, policies, and procedures to clinicians and staff; ensure clinic manuals are up to date
Maintain a working knowledge of Planned Parenthood policies and procedures and apply them to patient and clinic services
Supervise nursing functions as delegated by the Health Center Manager or clinician/physician
Participate in onboarding of new employees and cross‑training of established employees
Collaborate with and provide coverage as needed at health centers in assigned neighborhoods
Immunization Requirements
Hepatitis B vaccination records and titers
MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination records or proof of immunization
Chickenpox vaccination records or proof of immunization
Tetanus shot documentation
Tuberculosis PPD skin test no older than 12 months
