Urgent Care Medical Assistant – Certified (Everett)

Responsibilities

In an Urgent Care setting, perform individualized patient procedures, treatment and tests. Perform associated clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies and answering telephones. Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitoring of clinic flow.
Location

The primary work location for this position is Everett but depending on business need the incumbent may be required to work at any of the Seattle Children’s Urgent Care locations.
Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Required Credentials

Medical Assistant Certified by Washington State Department of Health prior to start date
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
Preferred

Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program
Medical Assistant or medical office experience
Current Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or Medical screening and immunization
Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification
Compensation Range

$26.28 – $38.85 per hour
Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
