Job Summary
DMC Sinai‑Grace Hospital, the largest hospital in DMC, seeks a Nurse Extern II (NE II) for night PRN shifts in Detroit, Michigan. The NE II will work under a registered nurse, providing technical and multi‑skilled direct and indirect patient care activities, including ADLs, vitals, and ambulation.
Responsibilities
Work under RN supervision, completing tasks delegated based on patient needs and skill level.
Report deviations from expected patient parameters to the RN.
Assist with patient care such as ADLs, vitals, ambulation, and other duties within the scope of a patient care tech.
Receive instruction, mentorship, and ongoing feedback from an assigned RN.
Qualifications
Registered nursing school candidate, with ability to apply up to six months prior to graduation.
Must have passed all senior courses to remain in the program.
Night shift PRN positions in a hospital environment.
