Schedule:
Part‑time – Thursday, Friday & Saturday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (some flexibility within day‑shift hours)

The Health Unit Coordinator provides essential clerical and administrative support to nursing staff within an inpatient medical unit. This role ensures smooth daily operations and efficient patient flow under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the communication hub for the unit, answering phones and coordinating messages.
Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Maintain and update patient records and unit logs.
Support nursing staff with clerical needs.
Coordinate information with other hospital departments.
Help maintain a welcoming and organized unit environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous unit coordinator, administrative, or healthcare support experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, patient‑centered environment.
Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
