Department: Diagnostic Imaging
Position Type: Full time, 36 hours/week, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts, variable scheduled days
As an ultrasound technologist at Salem Health Hospital and Clinics, you will play a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging to support exceptional patient care across a diverse population—from pediatrics through geriatrics. Your work directly supports clinical decision-making while creating a compassionate and reassuring experience for every patient you serve.

On a typical shift, you can expect a steady but manageable workflow, allowing you to focus on both quality and patient-centered care.
Our team includes technologists at all stages of their careers—from new graduates to highly experienced professionals—creating an environment where mentorship, learning, and knowledge-sharing are part of the daily culture. We’re looking for a compassionate, dependable team player who follows direction well and is eager to contribute to a high-functioning, supportive team.
This role offers strong professional growth opportunities. You’ll have the chance to expand your skill set into specialized exams such as MFM/OB and pursue additional credentials and registry letters. Salem Health also supports career advancement into roles such as charge tech, lead, supervisor, and beyond.
What you'll do
Perform a variety of ultrasound exams, including general (abdomen, pelvic, OB), small parts, carotid, breast, and venous studies.
Assist radiologists with invasive procedures, ensuring proper use of supplies, equipment, and safety protocols.
