Weekdays with occasional evenings or weekends.
Working Hours
40 hours per week.
Pay Range
$20.00/hour
Duration
6 months not to exceed 11 months.
Responsibilities
Assist PI and other lab members with genetic and cell biological experiments. Analyze data. Record results. Supervise care of Drosophila stocks. Manage all aspects of the lab, including hiring, training and supervising undergraduate lab assistants, ordering supplies, and managing lab finances.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment (or equivalent combination of training and experience). All degrees must be from accredited institutions. Previous experience using genetic, cell biological or molecular approaches.
