
Enterprise Platforms Environment Manager

*Description*
We are seeking a seasoned Environment Manager to lead the governance, stability, and operational readiness of enterprise platform environments across a complex application ecosystem. This role is responsible for ensuring non-production (i.e. Development, Test, Staging, Training), and production environments are well-managed, fit for purpose, and aligned to business and delivery needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Oracle Cloud and other enterprise applications such as UKG, Passport, and Vertex or comparable platforms. This individual will work closely with release, QA, platform, business, and vendor teams to ensure environments are reliable, appropriately controlled, and ready to support testing, training, and business-critical operations.
Key Responsibilities
*Serve as the owner for all enterprise platform environments, including clarity of purpose, integrations, availability, accessibility, and maintenance.
*Establish and maintain governance, best practices, and lifecycle controls for all enterprise platform environments (production & non-production) including Oracle, UKG, Passport, CRM, and Vertex.
*Define environment purposes, usage guidelines, access expectations, and readiness requirements for business and technical users.
*Ensure environments are managed in a scalable, secure, consistent, and controlled manner across integrated enterprise systems.
*Provide guidance to business and platform stakeholders on environment usage and readiness for testing, training, project delivery, and operational activities.
*Communicate proactively the environment purposes, accessibility, availability, and integrations with other system environments to key business and IT users so they can effectively plan and manage operations as necessary.
*Coordinate and execute environment refreshes, data masking, version alignment, and upgrade readiness across platforms.
*Partner with the entire IT org (cyber, application teams, infrastructure, etc.) program teams - including ExCAL, vendor support teams, and business leaders to ensure environments are prepared, available, and aligned with delivery timelines, patches, upgrades, maintenance events, and technical dependencies.
*Oversee environment connectivity and interoperability across enterprise applications and third-party systems.
*Monitor and manage environment health, availability, and system integrity across enterprise platforms, including Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, SCM, UKG Pro, WFM, Passport, and Vertex.
*Analyze environment-related incidents and recurring issues, identify trends, and drive proactive resolution.
*Identify structural or design issues affecting environment performance and stability, and collaborate with vendors, platform owners, process owners, and business stakeholders to resolve them.
*Ensure integrated platforms remain aligned across environments and that refreshes and changes are introduced in a controlled manner.
*Drive continuous improvement in environment management processes, controls, and documentation.
*Ensure compliance with change management, security requirements, SOX controls, and other applicable governance standards.
*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arden Hills, MN.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
