Pay Rate: $2101.00 - $2165.00
Speech Language Pathologist jobs in Leesburg, FL offer a 13-week contract with 5 eight-hour day shifts each week in a home health setting. You must have at least 1 year of experience, home health experience, an active Florida license, and AHA BLS certification.
Your responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, and voice disorders. You will introduce strategies to regain communication and socialization skills, strengthen muscles for speech and swallowing, teach caregivers supportive techniques, and ensure safe oral intake. You will also help patients manage personal affairs after neurological events and improve safety awareness through cognitive training.
